Yellow Gift Charm

Ooooh. New charm in Dizzywood this weekend. It is the Yellow gift charm. It’s a little present. Just like with all the charms you make it show up next to your name or a friend’s name. The new yellow gift charm is in Tanglevine Jungle. U have to levitate over the river to get it. Look to the south of where the frog sprite is and you will see it.

Groomfur’s Open

Groomfur’s House of Fashion is now open in Dizzywood. You can get inside from either Presto’s Edge or Canal City East. It is HUGE and there are a lot of different clothes you can buy. Non-members can buy some of the clothes too. Yay!

I spent all of my coins in five minutes. lol. I still couldn’t buy all the clothes there so now I have to go play some games and do missions to get more coins.

Oh and on Club Penguin the new clothing catalog for August is out too. The new clothes are all about flying for the upcoming Festival of Flight next week.

Color War in Dizzywood

Now you can join a color team in Dizzywood for Color War!!! I am on team Yellow. Go Yellow! To get on your team, go to Presto’s Edge and find the cauldron that is near the mystery wheel. Click on the cauldron and it will put you on a team (you don’t get to choose your team. It picks for you). Then click on the color war sign next to it to go to Farthing’s Meadow where you can find your team club house. It’s really cool!

Bake Sale in Dizzywood

It’s bake sale time in Dizzywood. The main sale is in Presto’s Edge. Paid members can get things to sell at their own bake sale and everyone can get a new contest camera to take pictures of all the bake sales that are happening in Dizzywood.

Presto’s Picnic

Presto’s Picnic is on right now and it’s really fun. Go to Presto’s Edge and click on the sign to go to Farthing’s Meadow where the main party is going on right now. It’s really crowded and was a little laggy on my comp.

There is a special area for gold and silver explorers only in Farthing’s Pond. there is a sign at the main picnic to go there. Silver and golds get free special clothing at the members-only area. Non-members can see it if they go on a tour but they can’t get the special stuff.

The party is great. Presto knows how to throw a picnic!

Oh you can get a picnic basket and blanket by collecting snails in Breakwater Beach and correctly answering the trivia question there. The answer is the Great Dizz!

New Hip Styles in Dizzywood

OK new clothes in Dizzywood at the store in Presto’s Edge. These are for Gold and Silver explorers only so you have to be a paid member to get them.

BOYS: Hip shirt with Tie, Hip Shiny Styling Jacket (Gold only)

Mine the Crystal Catacombs

Hi I just started doing the Mine the Crystal Catacombs mission on Dizzywood. You can do it three times a day in the Crystal Catacombs. You collect five crystals on the ground and when you are done you get to keep a crystal of the same color. So far I have a gold crystal and a silver crystal but I don’t know what to do with them now that I have them.

I think the crystals change color each time you do the mission but they are always in the same place. Here is one next to Chief Pathfinder Burrows in the Crystal Catacombs.

Cheat to get into Canal City without membership

OK so there is a cool cheat to get into Canal City even if you do not have one of the silver or gold explorer memberships on Dizzywood. Here is what you do.

Go outside the gates to Canal City or to Presto’s Edge or anywhere really and find a gold or silver explorer who has the new tour guide power. Ask around because someone will probably have it.
Go on the tour and make sure they take you to Canal City.
Log out of the game while you are on the tour.
Log back in and you will be able to walk around in Canal City.

That’s all you have to do if you want to sneak into Canal City early. It opens up tomorrow for everyone!

Canal City

I guess Canal City opens today for paid members but us free players need to wait until Monday. There are tons of people waiting at the gates on the canal city road. It’ really super crowded there!

I read the Dizzywood Guide (click on the Player’s Guide link on Dizzywood home page) and read about two people you will find in Canal City. They are Mayor Winslow Longullet and Mrs. Wilhemina Whiskercheeks. The mayor is the head of Canal City and Mrs. Whiskercheeks runs the cafe. It is called the Gilbert Square Cafe so I guess there will be a place where you can eat in Dizzywood now? Maybe it will be like the pizza shop and coffee shop in Club Penguin. Cool.

Oh and there are still monsters on the road to canal city and you can still zap them and they leave crystals for coins. So if you are waiting to get in you can spend some time zapping monsters.
